Ernest Bakker

I'm called Opa the Dutch Artist, and I'm an 85 year old painter who paints detailed scenes throughout the Netherlands. I paint acrylics on canvas, and it's a very enjoyable retirement pastime for me. Just 2 years ago, my oldest daughter gave me a watercolor set for my birthday and said to me, "Dad, you can do this." I eventually decided that I wanted to try acrylics, and have been enjoying that ever since.
